Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Compare.Coffee, an online coffee-bean comparison subscription service for UK consumers, operated by Concepcion Velasco Lopez, a sole trader trading as Compare.Coffee (address for correspondence and service: 37 Greenwich High Road, London, SE10 8GR). By using the site you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

What Compare.Coffee is

Compare.Coffee is a neutral comparison and discovery tool for specialty coffee. We are not a retailer— we link out to independent roasters and sellers, and any purchase is a contract between you and that seller. Prices, stock and product details are indicative and may be out of date; always confirm on the seller’s own site before buying. We’re not affiliated with the roasters listed unless stated.

Accounts

You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate details and let us know of any unauthorised use.

Subscriptions & billing

• Paid plans (Explorer, Enthusiast) are available monthly or annually and are billed through Stripe.
• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each period until you cancel.
• You can cancel any time via “Manage billing” — access continues until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
• Prices may change; we’ll give reasonable notice before a change affects you.
• Refunds: 14-day cooling-off period. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

Your content

Community notes, feedback and notebook entries you submit remain yours. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to host and display them as part of running the service. Don’t post anything unlawful, abusive, infringing or spammy; we may hide, remove or flag content and suspend accounts that break these terms.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the service — no scraping or bulk-extracting our data, no attempts to circumvent usage limits or security, and nothing that disrupts the platform or other users.

Intellectual property

Roaster and product names, logos and descriptions belong to their respective owners. The Compare.Coffee name, design and the compiled catalogue/comparison are ours; please don’t copy or reuse them without permission.

Disclaimers & liability

The service and catalogue data are provided “as is”, without warranties as to accuracy or availability. To the extent permitted by law we exclude liability for losses arising from use of the site or reliance on its data; nothing here limits liability that can’t be excluded under law (including your statutory consumer rights).

Changes & governing law

We may update these terms; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have jurisdiction. See our Privacy Policy, or contact us with any questions.
