Description
Aprysa, Peru. Founded in 2014 by Katsuhiko (pictured), a Japanese coffee producer who moved to Peru after meeting his wife, APRYSA is one of the smallest cooperatives in the Amazonas region — and proudly so. With about 250 members and farms averaging just 1.5 hectares, the group has built its identity around family values, quality, and certification. Katsuhiko leads the cooperative alongside Flor (Vice President since 2020) and Jerry, the agronomist who guides members on technical training, compliance, and sustainable practices.
