Description

Biru Bekele a veteran farmer from the birthplace of coffee, Yirgacheffe, applies his deep skills to natural processing - with coffee beans drying inside their fruit, intensifying their inherent brightness. This lot was cultivated at high altitude, in rich soil, and with a favorable environment by small parcel gardeners and perfectly developed by Biru Bekele’s processing, resulting in a sterling example of the floral and citrus notes characteristic of East Africa. Biru operates several washing stations to reduce the logistical burden that largely falls to women.
